November 2015 issue of Licensing Magazine was out today and it highlights a couple of Transformers related articles.
First of all, you may remember that Simba Dickie acquired licensing rights to manufacture Die Cast Vehicles and RC Cars based on the Transformers: Robots In Disguise animated series. The company had announced that the new line will make its debut at the 2016 Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany on 27th January next year.
“Dickie Toys will develop and market a wide product range of various vehicles, including RC, die cast, light and sound vehicles and play-sets. The deal applies to Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, excluding Japan, and the new range will be launched at the 2016 Nuremberg Toy Fair.
Oliver Naumann, managing director of Dickie Toys, added: “We are delighted about the cooperation agreement with Hasbro and are looking forward to developing a successful new range of Transformers licensed toys.”
Speaking of Licensing, the Transformers Brand has earned the rank of #14 out of #30 for the best Entertainment License Property in Europe for the year 2015. #1 position went to Minions while #2 and #3 went to Frozen and Peppa Pig respectively. Congratulations, Hasbro!
