Japanese clothing store BAPE (A Bathing Ape) have teamed up with Takara-Tomy to offer another exclusive deco version of Masterpiece Convoy. Following on from the green version which they have previously offered, they are now offering a red version of Convoy. This is an all-red version of Masterpiece Convoy – the parts that are usually blue are here picked out in a darker shade of red than what Optimus would usually sport.
According to BAPE’s homepage, this figure will be offered as a pre-release at a BAPE pop-up store in Isetan Shinjuku between 3 November 2015 and 10 November 2015. They are saying pre-release, but no word on if that means this one will be offered more widely at other stores or beyond the end of the pop-up store’s opening on 10 November.
