Via on Facebook, we have a look at the five figure Platinum Series Dinobots set, which is coming out later this year. It’s a set of the Movie Dinobots in Generation 1 colors – much like how the previous San Diego Comic Con / Amazon exclusive versions were done, except this time all five G1 themed decos are collected in a single box, and all five feature remolded heads which are more closely inspired by the Generation 1 Dinobot head sculpts.
Admittedly, this means the box contains an odd mash-up of Movie and Classic aesthetics without truly belonging to either. The new sculpts however look good, and the molds rock the Generation 1 colors like they were made for them.
