Entertainment Weekly are reporting that IDW and Archie Comics have teamed up to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Archie Comics, with a series of special variant covers for eight of IDW’s comics. One of these variant covers features Optimus Prime and Hot Rod paying a visit to Riverdale – with Archie getting to ride in style with Hot Rod! It’s a fun variant that’s got no bearing on the story within, and is an overall cool way to mark a major milestone for one of the longest-standing comic publishers out there.
