Last week we were able to share some information on a set of upcoming store exclusive toys, and now, care of Hasbro Australia and Ozformers, we have some details on which of those releases will be making it to Australia – as well as information on one more exclusive not revealed last week, a six pack of One Step Changers.
The release list goes as follows:
Australian Big W exclusives
C2034 TRA MV5 Turbo Changer (1-step) TF5 Figure 6pk (for June toy sale)
(Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Hound, Barricade, Megatron) (This is anticipated to be a Target exclusive in the US, as it sports the same decoder promo as the known Target exclusive Voyager Optimus Prime)
Toys R Us Australia exclusives
C2022 MTC Legion TF5 Figure 2pk (Optimus/Grimlock, Megatron/Bumblebee)
C2023 MTC Deluxe TF5 Figure (this could be both Skullitron and stealthbomber Megatron)
C2024 MTC 5 Bot Combiner Infernocus Figure
C2025 MTC Deluxe TF5 Optimus Prime 2pk
Ozformer’s own Griffin-of-Oz notes that this potentially means the character Hot Rod will not be making it to Australia, from his absence from the list, and generally that all of Walmart’s Autobots Unite exclusives will not be making it to the country.
It is unknown if other countries will follow suit on this distribution of the exclusives overseas, though it certainly bodes well for TRUs worldwide carrying their Mission to Cybertron subline. When we learn more, we will share it with you here.
