You may remember back in February, we revealed that Hasbro has applied for a new Trademark titled Combiner Force. Today, thanks to an update on Transformers: Robots In Disguise Mobile Game, we have the mystery finally solved.
According to the information and images kindly given to us by our Boards Member Fasttrack, we now know that the new Trademark is actually for an upcoming subline for the current Transformers: Robots In Disguise series (NuRID). The game update technical details clearly specify that the line is called Combiner Force. The update also includes a Map Screen and unlock codes for Combiner Force characters.
Description:
“The War rages on, but we have a new weapon against the enemy. The COMBINERS are one of the the largest, most powerful robots on the team. Our victory is assured?” – Optimus Prime
The toyline features:
“Combiners” – Possible new line of already existing characters[?]
“Crash Combiners” – New characters including Skyhammer. Parts and limbs of the new and existing characters can be mixed and matched very much like the Transformers Hero Mashers line (this is a possible rename of the line). Oh, GRIMBEE is now a possibility if Hasbro gives us Grimlock!
“Activators” – Renamed RID Mini-Con toyline with new Mini-Cons including Great Byte, Stuntwing and Trickout.
New “Power Heroes” and “Warriors“.
