Thanks to an article from the Japanese Hobby Magazine “Dengeki Hobby“, we are treated to new images of LG31 Fortress Maximus displayed for the first time with its Master Sword accessory. These images shows this Master Sword to be an animation accurate version of the same accessory included in the San Diego Comic Con Exclusive figure and also the Hong Kong Exclusive Master Sword. Similar to its counterparts, The top part of the sword can be unplugged and held by Cerebros in robot mode, simulating him unlocking Fortress Maximus’ transformation into big mode.
Another feature of this version of the figure was also confirmed. As an original feature on the Japanese release, the article states that Legends Fortress Maximus will include sound clips of main theme song from “Transformers: The Head Masters“, and also voice tracks recorded by the original voice actor, Mr. Ikuya Sawaki. This monumental figure is scheduled for release in late September, but before then check out the images after the break.
