Unfortunately, the Space Ape team has informed us that the Strafe vs. Scourge event originally planned for this weekend has been cancelled due to a bug. However, they’ve replaced it with another equally as awesome event! This weekend, we’ll be seeing two other new characters joining the fight on Earth: Sideswipe and Viper! This weekend, alliances will have the opportunity to gain Sideswipe for the Autobots, and Viper for the Decepticons!

Sideswipe (Warrior)
Personal safety often takes a backseat to Sideswipe’s reckless but brave actions, though don’t doubt for a moment that it’s number one he’s looking out for.
Though less cold-blooded than his twin brother Sunstreaker, Sideswipe will use any dirty underhanded tactic he can think of to come out on top.But being on Earth has taught him other priorities, like saving innocent species caught in the crossfire.

Viper (Air)
If there’s one word that describes Viper it’s ‘toxic’.Not only for his serpentine qualities, which include a lightning fast attack, dual transformation and a lethal barrage of acid pellets, but also for his sheer malevolent presence, which seems to infect the mental wellbeing of teammates almost as much as enemies. He’s not nice to be around, and he doesn’t care. This bot is mad, bad and dangerous to know.
