More awesome news from Wonderfest 2016 as we have prototype pics of Prime 1‘s next product, Optimus Primal! This seems to be Prime 1’s first Beast Wars statue, likely in celebration of the series’s 20th anniversary. Featuring a very gritty, almost life-like depiction of the Maximal leader himself, this Optimus Primal statue is choc-full of sculpted detail in both the organic parts and inorganic parts such as the gorilla fur and robot wiring. Beneath the fearless Maximal lies what’s left of what was the Universe’s favorite (not!), poor Waspinator. The statue also features red LED eyes, only adding to the lively appearance.
