Comicave Studios have relayed additional new images of their 1/22 scale Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime die cast figure. It is non transformable but features over 60 points of articulation and high end paint applications. While these are still of the prototype seen at the shows over the last year, it gives us new angles and a better sense of the final product. It’s tentatively slated for release in August of this year. Read on to check additional images and a full spec list.

The 1/22 Scale Optimus Prime is a 50% die-cast metal, fully articulated figurine with interchangeable accessories, and LED light features in the eyes. At over 15 inches in height, the figure itself weighs close to 3.5 pounds (1.6 kg). Extendable joints at key points of the figure enable extensive posability and playability.
Featured in Transformers: Age of Extinction, Optimus Prime is from the planet Cybertron, and is the leader of the Autobots in the film.
