There’s been an update in the guests attending Botcon 2016. Unfortunately, Alec Willows, the voice of Tarantulas, will not be able to attend this year’s convention due to appearing in a lead role in a theater production which coincides with when he was due to attend at Botcon.
In his place, Botcon have announced that the voice of Blackarachnia in Beast Wars and Beast Machines, Venus Terzo, will be attending Botcon 2016. Venus’ performance as Blackarachnia helped to bring to life one of the deepest and most interesting female characters of the Transformers franchise. She’s also appeared as Jean Grey in X-Men Evolution, Jinx in G.I. Joe Valor VS Venom, and the Sorceress in The New Adventures of He-Man.
Botcon 2016 will be held on April 7th-10th in Louisville, Kentucky. Other guests who fans can look forward to meeting at Botcon 2016 include fellow Beast Wars cast alumni David Kaye (Megatron), and Scott McNeil (Rattrap, Dinobot, Waspinator, and Silverbolt).
